Gragnano pasta becomes IGP

Great success for the Gragnano City of Pasta Consortium

On 30 July a public hearing was held, necessary for the recognition of IGP Pasta di Gragnano. 30 days after the publication in the Official Gazzette, Gragnano pasta can be protected by the marking Indicazione Geografica Protetta (Geographically Protected Product) and the documentation will be sent to the Minister of the European Commission to bring this recognition to a European level.
