Fresine alla siciliana

Ingredients

  • 350 g fresine dei Campi
  • 1 Tbsp raisins
  • 1 Tbsp pine nuts
  • 100 g black olives
  • 10 salted capers
  • 2 anchovies in oil
  • 3 Tbsp bread crumbs
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4-5 mint leaves
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt

Instructions

Clean the salt off the capers and chop them along with the anchovies and olives. Soak the raisins in warm water, drain them and squeeze out any remaining water. As you are cooking the pasta, sauté the garlic cloves in a pan with olive oil. Add the raisins, pine nuts, olives, capers, and anchovies. Cook everything together for a few minutes before adding the bread crumbs.
Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce along with a few leaves of mint.
